Verizon Wireless is a leading competitor in mobile technology. From Internet to multiple forms of messaging, a Verizon customer can stay in contact with colleagues, friends and family. As a Verizon Wireless customer, you can check text messages and voice mails even when you don't have access to your cell phone. All you need is another telephone and an Internet connection, and you can stay connected with your network.
Dial your Verizon Wireless phone number from another wireless phone or landline. You may have to enter "1" and your area code if it is long distance.
Wait for your phone to ring and go to voice mail. When you hear your greeting, press the # symbol.
Enter your password and press the # symbol again. Listen to your voice mail messages.
Go to the Verizon Wireless website and log in to your account. Enter your 10-digit mobile number or your selected user name and password.
Scroll over "Messaging" in the horizontal navigation bar. From the drop-down menu, select "Send Text Message."
Select "Check Text Status" on the vertical navigation bar from the "Send a Text Message" web page.
Direct text messages to your Verizon account by either selecting "Web" or "My Handset and Web." Click "Apply" to save changes.
Use the "Check Text Status" web page to view your messages sent and replies. Messages sent to you are located in the "Reply" section.
