How to Delete the Dogpile Browser History

by Jamie Lisse

Dogpile is an Internet search engine created by Infospace. Dogpile works with metasearch technology, which means that it shows results from Google, Yahoo, Ask and Bing. According to Dogpile, less than 12 percent of top search results are shared by two of the four search engines. The technology allows Dogpile to aggregate the results so that users get the most relevant ones. If you do not want those results stored in your browser history you can easily remove them.

Click the arrow next to the Dogpile logo on the toolbar if you are using the Dogpile browser toolbar. Select "Clear History" from the drop-down menu. Click "Clear History" when the confirmation message appears and your history will be deleted from the Dogpile browser toolbar.

Launch Internet Explore to clear your Dogpile browser history from it. Go to the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options" and then "Content." Select "AutoComplete" in the "Personal Information" section and then click "Clear Forms" to delete your Dogpile browser history in Internet Explorer.

Open Firefox if it is your preferred browser. From the "Tools" menu, go to "Options" and then "Privacy." Look in the "Saved Information" area of the screen and click "Clear" to clear your Dogpile browser history from Firefox.
