How to List Multiple Degrees on LinkedIn

by C. Taylor, studioD

According the entrepreneurially focused Babson College, LinkedIn represents the largest professional network in the world. Your profile is your opportunity to brand yourself on this network, so it should be both professional and complete. If you have multiple degrees, they should each be listed in chronological order, complete with the school’s name, its location, additional activities and any honors you received. The first time you add a school, LinkedIn only provides space for a single entry, but you can open a new entry form after saving the first school.

Log in to your LinkedIn account.

Click "Profile," then "Edit Profile."

Click "+Add Education" in the Education section.

Enter your school name, dates attended, degree, field of study, description and any activities or societies in which you were involved. Only the "School" field is mandatory. If your school, degree or field of study doesn't appear in the suggestion list, simply type in the appropriate information. LinkedIn only includes commonly added information for these lists.

Click "Save."

Click "+Add Education" again and enter the details for additional degrees.

Click and drag the double-headed, vertical arrow next to a listed school to rearrange the order, if required.

Click "Done Editing."
