The Apple iPhone comes with a built-in email program that is compatible with multiple email accounts including those hosted on the Outlook Web app or a company Microsoft Exchange server. Although no official Outlook email application exists on the iPhone, iPhone users can access their Outlook email by setting up their account through the Microsoft Exchange option on the iPhone.
Tap the "Settings" icon on your iPhone's home screen.
Scroll down through the list of settings and tap the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" option.
Tap the "Add Account..." option under "Mail, Contacts, Calendar."
Tap the "Microsoft Exchange" option to begin setting up Outlook email on your iPhone.
Type in your Outlook email address, username and password in the "Email," "Username" and "Password," fields. If you do not know these, ask your email administrator.
Tap the "Next" button to verify the email address, username and password you previously entered in.
Type in the "Server" and "Domain" information if prompted to by the set-up wizard. If you do not know the server and domain, contact your email administrator.
Tap "Next." Select what you want to synchronize to the iPhone from your Outlook account. You can select to synchronize your email, contacts, calendar and notes. Tap the "Save" button to complete the set-up process.
